13° plus he fresh coating of snow equals perfect weather for a 3 mile recovery run. I followed it up with push-ups, crunches, lunges, and various weights.

Used some machine screws in my shoes for traction since the snow covered up some ice

Two miles on the snowmobile trail.
Footing soft and uneven, but ok.
Hopefully the last run below zero.
