13 miles of easy-moderate running around a park and open space, all good but a blue car driven by a crazy lady tried to run me down at a traffic circle.

Had to wait till mid afternoon for rain to stop. Seems all the dog walkers, and other walkers came out too after the rain. Crowded on the rec trail, but still got in a nice 16.5K.

Ran a hidden double threshold that wasn't picked upon Strava.

6.2 miles in AM on the treadmill I did 3X 8 minutes, and PM outside (cold and snowy, but it was letting up by then) I did 4.5 with 4X 2 min, 1 min float.

Finally got a chance to run through a nearby City owned golf course that through Covid and continuing to present, opened its gates for winter recreational use. Usually X-C skiing or snowshoeing, but with the lack of snow this winter around here, the golf cart track was free and clear to run on. 11.6K.

7 miles easy, the sun peaked out for 1 minute but now it's foggy and snowing so I evaded that.

AM workout was a set of reps on the track at CV effort, it was kind of cold 30 degrees, feels like 26. Usually you want to do about 20-25 minutes of reps (2-5 minutes) and 1000s and 800s are my go to distances on the track. I can do 1200s, but those are tough on your own. Less than 3 minutes they seem to be too short. Today was 4X 1000 with 1:15-1:20 recovery, but on the last one I could feel my pace and effort waiver so I dropped to 800s on the final two, to keep the same pace without straining. Finished with a 600 at 5K goal pace. 7 miles, a solid B+ workout (which is kind of what you want to do most of the time, a string of B+s is better than a couple in the A/A+ range).

PM I'll do 30 minutes easy.
