It was cold and snowy, I did 30 minutes on the spin bike in the morning and in the afternoon 5 miles on the treadmill. After 43.5 years of being self-coached self-trained I'm making contact to hire a coach for the next 7 months to help me back under 3 for the marathon (last time was 2017).

7.5 miles easy on trails, mostly single track. Nice that the snow melted down lower the other day and the trails dried under warm and sunny weather.

Had 2-3" inches of snowfall last evening. Nice thaw today, so by afternoon, most roads were center bare. 21.K to get my monthly half marathon distance in.

9 miles with 2X 3,4,5 minute tempo/threshold effort, 1 minute recovery. I had planned on 2X 3K but wasn't feeling great so opted to break it up a bit more and run a little less. It all worked out okay.

I xc skied about 18 km. It was warm, in the 40s, so I had to climb (slog in the slush) for 6 km up to 9,000 feet to a stretch that is well-shaded. Then I got in some good skating.
