Success. 7.4 miles on my 74th birthday. Wonder how many years I can keep this up?

7.5M.
Garmin reports my VO2 max hit a new 2020 high yesterday of 46 (age 58). Up 3 points since March.
Last week I hit a record high heart rate of 193 on a 3-mile uphill segment from 8700 to 9300 feet.
As a result my heart rate zones for warmup, easy, aerobic, LT and VO2 runs all shifted upwards which I agree with.
Prior to the shift a lot of what felt like to me were general aerobic runs were being binned as maybe 50% aerobic 50% LT.
The Sunday plain ole aerobic run now binned as 2% warmup, 34% EZ and 64% aerobic.

I still need to lose 10 pounds and do want to ramp up training so VO2max of 50 does not seem outside the realm of possibilities.

So I've been out of commission since Aug 24th. I rolled my ankle really bad at work, I couldn't walk for four days. I tried keeping up my lifting regimen but that was just depressing with my ankle. I can walk mostly normal now but I can't run. This sucks, I've never been injured before.
