I did oatmeal for years for breakfast but finally got burned out on it.  For the past 8 or so months I've been doing protein shakes:  unsweetened vanilla almond milk, chocolate whey protein powder, half a banana, a big scoop of almond butter and a little ice thrown in the blender.  I carry it with me and drink it in the car on the way to work.  I add the banana and almond butter just to bulk it up a little bit.  The protein powder i use has 24 g of protein per scoop.
