Track workout today! Jog 800m, sprint drills. Then 2 sets of 150m, 200m, 300m at around 80% top speed. All body parts held up. Next up - Running the leadoff 0.2 mile (385 yard) leg on our 26 x 1-mile relay team (likely against people half my age).
I’m still wary of being able to sprint at 100% top speed, so Nationals are out this summer. But hopefully I can get my hip better and test it in some local meets. There’s always the Huntsman Senior Games in October to shoot for. Don’t count me out yet.
