For the past dozen years or so, I have been the RD or worked a Canada Day Race in Barrie, about 45 minutes north of Toronto. Covid-19 this year made it a virtual race, but I was still drawn to the race site, even though this is my first Canada Day being an actual holiday for me in the dozen years. Ran the 10K route this morning and saw about half a dozen other runners or walkers wearing old Canada Day Race Barrie tees on the route, and about 5 kids in a family with home made bibs doing the 1K Kids route. :)
Tempo pace for me for the 10K in 53:38.

I just ran my usual 3.3 miles – just getting it in before the thunderstorm.
