Every picture I take, I have to edit to straighten it. It looks straight when I'm shooting it. Does this happen to anyone else? Is something wrong with my camera?
-
I do it too. Every time I shoot my art in my light box. It's on a table. And the camera is on a little tripod on the same table. It's always crooked. I think my easel is a little crooked, but I'm sure I'd be slightly off anyway. I think our yes and brains can only process so much information at once.

Does this happen with both handheld and tripod held shots? If it's only on handheld pictures, could you be pressing the shutter release a little too firmly, throwing the camera slightly off level?

Hmm. I don't have a tripod yet. This experiment will be a great reason to buy one!

Maybe you've got fluid in one ear...do you walk around with your head half-cocked?

Happens to me often. I assumed that was normal. As long as I don't have to lose anything important when I straighten it, I'm cool.

I guess there wouldn't be a "straighten" option if it wasn't common.
